Your money, your Stripe
Ticket buyers pay by card through your theatre’s own Stripe account, and the money goes straight to you. Connecting Stripe takes about ten minutes. Online payments start once Theatra has approved your theatre.

The box office
Sell phone bookings, cash sales and group bookings in the box office, with any mix of paid seats and comps. Take cash or card, record a bank transfer, or send an invoice.

Seating plans
Draw the room once and every show at that venue sells from it. Start from a template by shape and size, or one another theatre shares. A show can sell general admission, unreserved, best available or pick your seat.

- Wheelchair spaces with a companion seat beside them
- Leave no single seats, so online buyers do not strand one seat in a row
Waiting lists
A sold-out night can take names, with no account and nothing to pay. When seats come back, from a refund or a released hold, Theatra offers them to the next person in line by email, and they book at the normal price.
Season tickets and flex passes
Sell a season ticket, one ticket to each show you choose at one price, or a flex pass of tickets to use on any shows in the season. Holders choose their seats for each show, and last season’s holders can renew before you go on sale.
Check-in at the door
Open the door list on any phone and scan each ticket with the camera. Two doors on two phones see the same night, and the phone keeps checking tickets if the signal drops.

What it costs
- You can sell tickets on every plan, including Free.
- Theatra charges a small fee on each paid ticket booked online. On a cheap ticket it is less.
- No fee on free tickets, comps or anything sold at the door. Stripe’s card fees are charged by Stripe.
- If you cancel or move a performance, we refund our fee.
- On the Community price list, a paid ticket sold here gives you the plan for twelve months. Season tickets come with the plan.
