Productions
One page per show.
Where it has got to, who is in it, what is booked and what it is costing, on one page. The next thing to do sits at the top.
- Cast, team and crew with their jobs
- Rehearsals, meetings and performances
- A to do list that knows the show

Calendar
The schedule, on everyone’s phone.
Every rehearsal, meeting, audition and performance in one calendar. Each person subscribes once and their calls appear in the phone calendar they already use, and move when you move them.
- Works with Apple, Google and Outlook calendars
- Each person sees only what they are called to
- A call sheet by email the evening before

Venues
Draw the room once.
Stalls, circle, boxes, aisles, pillars, the bar and the tech desk, in metres. Grade the seats, mark the wheelchair spaces, and every show at that venue sells from the same plan.
- Blocks, tables and single seats
- Rake and sightlines, with a 3D view
- Shared plans for venues you hire

Ticketing
The house, as it fills.
Sell online, at the box office or at the door. On the night, every scanned ticket turns its seat green, so front of house can see who is in and where the gaps are.
- Pick-a-seat or general admission
- Holds, comps and invoices for groups
- Online money goes to your own Stripe account

The Wings
What is waiting in the wings near you.
Costumes, props, set and kit that theatres near you are lending, giving away or selling, each with a photo and its price. Ask to borrow, agree the dates in a message, and the loan goes in both theatres’ books. Share your own store and the next show starts with it.
- Lend, hire, give away or sell, or share a whole show’s set
- Wanted posts reach the theatres that have one
- A lending record on every theatre, never star ratings

Why theatres choose Theatra
- Built for theatre, not events: casting, rehearsals and the budget, not just tickets.
- Your first show is free, and every show is when tickets sell here.
- No monthly fee to start; the ticket fee is the income.
- Your money, your Stripe: ticket money never passes through us.
- Your people stay private: each person chooses what a theatre sees.
- Nothing typed twice: the app works out what it can.
On the night
The door and the bar, from a phone.

Common questions
- What counts as our free show?
- A production counts the day you give it a performance date, and the free one has everything a Show Pass has. Planning, casting and rehearsals are free on every show. On Community, the first production you date in any twelve months is free. On Professional, your first production is free.
- Which price list are we on?
- You choose when you set up your theatre. Charities, amateur and community theatres are on Community. Commercial and professional theatres are on Professional. Ask us if you are not sure.
- Do you charge per member?
- No. Add as many people as you like, on any plan.
- Do we need a plan if we sell our tickets through Theatra?
- Not on Community. The first paid ticket you sell through Theatra gives you the plan, and it runs for twelve months after your last paid ticket. Sell a show here each year and you never pay for a plan or a pass. Professional theatres pay their list as well as the fee.
- Can we send newsletters on the free plan?
- Newsletters come with the plan, bought or earned by selling tickets here on Community. Memberships and the bar till are the same: they belong to the theatre, so a Show Pass does not include them.
- What happens if we stop paying?
- You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, then go back to Free. Nothing is deleted, and you can export your data whenever you like.
- Is there a trial?
- The free show is the trial. There is no card to enter and no clock running.
